Why I Started Jill O'Halloran Marketing
Starting Jill O'Halloran Marketing wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision—it was a calling that grew louder with every step of my career and every challenge life handed me.
For more than 15 years, I've worked in marketing, communications, events, and tourism. I've had the privilege of collaborating with incredible businesses and witnessing firsthand how the right story, delivered in the right way, can transform a business. But as much as I loved the work, I found myself craving something more: more flexibility, more creative freedom, and more time with the two little humans who matter most to me.
My son's illness was one of the hardest chapters of my life, and it reshaped everything I thought I knew about work, balance, and purpose. When you've spent nights worrying, advocating, and pushing through hurdles you never expected, you begin to see life differently. You quickly learn what truly matters, and for me, that is helping people.
Launching this business was a way to take back control of my time while still doing what I love. But even more importantly, it was a way to expand the impact I could have. I want to support small businesses, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and community builders who are doing meaningful work but may not have the resources or time to tell their stories effectively.
At its core, Jill O'Halloran Marketing exists because I believe communities thrive when we support one another. Helping people, whether it's a business owner trying to grow, a team needing clarity, or a family finding balance, is how we all move forward.
This business isn't just a career shift. It's a reflection of my values and my belief that when we help others shine, our whole community gets brighter.
